How to Make a Button Bracelet

Supplies:

  • Bunch of shirt button, about 10-20 will work
  • scissors
  • elastic cord
Measure the elastic:

Measure the elastic you'll need by wrapping it around your wrist. Add a couple inches to this length to allow for tying the knot. Cut the elastic where needed.

Once your elastic is cut, you can thread the beads.

Thread the buttons:

Thread the cord through two opposite hole in the button. Some buttons have four holes, but you will only need to use 2, do the same with the next button except thread it right side up on top of the last button and continue with the pattern.

Keep threading the buttons, then tie it off.

Tie a knot:

Finish your button pattern. You can do only a few buttons or go all the way around the elastic. Tie  off the elastic at your wrist. But be sure to snip any loose end of the elastic.
